Death Doula

What is a Death Doula?

A Death Doula (also called an End of Life Doula) is a non-medical professional who offers support, education, and guidance to individuals and their circle of support through the end-of-life process. My role is to help ensure that death unfolds in a way that most aligns with the wishes of the person dying and provides emotional, spiritual and practical care to their family and community

Practical & Emotional Support

I offer personalised support, acting as an informed companion to guide you through the dying process. Helping with daily tasks, coordinating care, or assisting with planning for end-of-life wishes.

Funerals & Ceremony

I support families in navigating funerals, rituals, and ceremonies, ensuring these gatherings honour the wishes of their loved one. I provide guidance on available options and collaborate to create meaningful, transformative and connective experiences that truly reflect your person.

Grief Support

After the immensity of death, I offer ongoing support to families and communities through creating meaningful grief rituals, community ceremony, group processing and practical support ~ creating intentional, supportive spaces to support family and community healing.

End-of-Life Plans & Preparation

I offer practical support in organising essential legal documents such as wills and advance care directives ~ alongside non-legal preparations like emotional wills, death wishes, and ceremony planning. I also assist with legacy work, capturing your life through writing, filming and storytelling.

“Death itself is the seed that blooms a beautiful life.”
